Join us as we explore music evoking the cultures of China, Japan, Korea, the Philippines and Vietnam, and introduce the initiative “New Frontiers in Hawaiian Music,” with the world premiere of Waimea Canyon.

American Music Festivals is proud to present a concert of works by Asian and Pacific composers alongside music inspired by its people, places, and traditions. This program is part of a series of concerts to be presented in Chicago by the Lincolnwood Chamber Orchestra, honoring heritage months by highlighting cross-cultural connections and the contributions to the orchestral experience by composers and performers of many backgrounds.
